Milling
The XYZ-1060HS is XYZ Machine Tools’ flagship machining centre. The HS stands for ‘high speed’, which is exactly what we aim to deliver – high quality components at high speed, which in turn reflects on the cost of the component. With a rapid traverse of 43 metres per minute and spindle speeds up to 12000 rpm, we are able to reduce machining times without reducing quality and pass these savings directly to our customers.
Using CadCam Technology, our speciality is in the field of 3D milling. We can produce very complex 3D components direct from a 3D model supplied by our customer. There is no need to produce fully detailed drawings, we simply take the 3D model delivered via email in the form of an IGES file. We then interpret the model using our CadCam software and upload the program to our machine.
